David Robertson is the Canadian author of books ranging from elementary picture books, middle grade novels, high school novels, all the way to adult (memoir). He has received numerous awards and is very involved in sharing his Cree heritage but also making visible the experiences of Indigenous people live in modern North America.
His recent middle grade novel The Barren Grounds is one of the selections for this years’ Oregon Battle of the Books.
