Attention EDGE Families!
We have some exciting things coming up for our incoming Kindergarteners, New to EDGE 1st graders, 6th graders, and 9th graders!
This year the EDGE program is hosting three Jumpstart Events to help set your students up for success for the 22-23 school year.
These events will run simultaneously with our program wide HedgeHOG Days where students will be able to check out their device, pick up kits/books, and more.
Additional information regarding the Kinder/1st grade, 6th grade and 9th grade Jumpstart as well as HedgeHOG Days will be shared in the coming weeks but for now we want to invite you all the ‘Save the Date’ for the Jumpstart Days! You will find info regarding Kinder/1st, 6th and 9th grade Jumpstarts below!
Kinder/New to EDGE 1st graders
Who: All incoming kindergarteners AND new to EDGE 1st graders for 22/23 school year
What: 1st Annual Jumpstart
When: Monday 8/22 and Tuesday 8/23
Where: Morning sessions at McKay High School Annex at 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM, Afternoon sessions virtually on Zoom
Why: This is an opportunity for you to check out your device and supply kits, have your questions answered, meet some of your teachers, practice getting to class, learn a little more about EDGE expectations and more!!

6th and 9th graders
Who: All incoming 6th and 9th graders for 22-23 school year
What: 1st Annual Jumpstart Event
When: Monday 8/22 from 8 am-6 pm and Tuesday 8/23 VIRTUAL ONLY
Where: Monday 8/23 will be at the McKay High School Annex; Tuesday 8/23 VIRTUAL ONLY
Why: This is an opportunity for students to check out their device and supply kits, have their questions answered, as well as meet some of their teachers, and more!
