Yearbooks, Senior Pictures, Prom, & Other Activities
Because EDGE students are dually enrolled in their neighborhood school, they may participate in their neighborhood school's senior activities, such as the prom, and appear in the yearbook for that school. Follow the links below to senior activities at your local high school.
Graduation Ceremonies
EDGE students will also participate in their local school's graduation ceremonies, and that school's name will appear on their diploma and transcript. However, EDGE will host a graduation celebration.

Biliteracy Seal
The state of Oregon recognizes students who are proficient in English and one or more other languages by awarding them Oregon’s State Seal of Biliteracy at graduation. Students receive a certificate of achievement, a biliteracy seal on their diploma, and a note of biliteracy attainment in their high school transcripts. The biliteracy seal certifies that a student has attained a high level of proficiency in more than one language and provides employers and colleges with a method of identifying people with language and biliteracy skills.
To qualify for the seal of biliteracy, students need to meet all graduation requirements and score at a level Intermediate High or above in listening, speaking, reading and writing on a state approved partner language assessment.
Biliteracy Seal at EDGE
Every September, in Advisory, we encourage students in grades 9-12 who have language skills in any language other than English to sign up for a language proficiency test (called STAMP or ALTA). Students take the test online or in their resident school in November or April and can earn additional credits for their skills, even if they don't reach the Intermediate High level required for the Biliteracy Seal. Students can take the each year to achieve a higher score or achieve the Seal.
