Yearbooks, Senior Pictures, Prom, & Other Activities
Because EDGE students are dually enrolled in their neighborhood school, they may participate in their neighborhood school's senior activities, such as the prom, and appear in the yearbook for that school. Follow the links below to senior activities at your local high school.
Graduation Ceremonies
EDGE students will also participate in their local school's graduation ceremonies, and that school's name will appear on their diploma and transcript. However, EDGE will host a graduation celebration.

Biliteracy Seal
Celebrate Your Student’s Language Skills with the Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy!
The State of Oregon honors students who demonstrate proficiency in English and one or more additional languages by awarding them the Oregon State Seal of Biliteracy at graduation. This recognition highlights their multilingual skills and provides valuable credentials for future education and career opportunities.
Students who earn the seal will receive:
- A certificate of achievement
- A biliteracy seal on their diploma
- An official notation on their high school transcript
This distinction certifies that a student has achieved a high level of proficiency in multiple languages, helping colleges and employers identify individuals with strong language and communication skills.
How to Qualify:
To earn the Seal of Biliteracy, students must:
- Meet all graduation requirements
- Achieve an Intermediate High or higher score in listening, speaking, reading, and writing on a state-approved language assessment
For more information, students and families can connect with their school counselor, test coordinator, or language teacher. Encourage your student to celebrate their bilingual or multilingual abilities and gain a meaningful advantage for their future!
Biliteracy Seal at EDGE
Every September, in Advisory, we encourage students in grades 9-12 who have language skills in any language other than English to sign up for a language proficiency test (called STAMP or ALTA). Students take the test online or in their resident school in November or April and can earn additional credits for their skills, even if they don't reach the Intermediate High level required for the Biliteracy Seal. Students can take the each year to achieve a higher score or achieve the Seal.
