Families may qualify for help with internet and mobile costs

Did you know that as a Salem-Keizer family, you may qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program? The Affordable Connectivity Program provides qualified households with a credit of up to $30 a month towards internet and mobile services.

In all Salem-Keizer Public Schools, students receive free breakfast and lunch each day as part of the Community Eligibility Provision. All households with children receiving free or reduced meals may be eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program. We encourage all families to learn more about the Affordable Connectivity Program.

To enroll, families will need to submit proof of enrollment, which can be accessed through the district’s ParentVUE portal and verification of income may be required for program enrollment.

Families are encouraged to enroll

With the launch of the new Affordable Connectivity Program, which may be available to all district families, Salem-Keizer families currently receiving sponsorship through the Internet Essentials Partnership Program are highly encouraged to enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program to avoid unexpected charges for internet services.
